Our organization is deeply rooted in the belief that serving humanity must be done with complete integrity, transparency, and compliance with every letter and spirit of Indian law. From registrations to fundraising, data protection to volunteer conduct, tax filings to grievance redressal — we walk in line with the law, guided by professionals, and answerable to the people, the authorities, and our conscience.

Our Legal Standing

True Path Foundation is a:

  • Registered Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013
  • Registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)
  • Registered under Section 12A & 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961
  • Compliant with CSR Guidelines for corporate donations
  • Listed on NGO Darpan (NITI Aayog platform)
  • Fully compliant with Indian IT Act (for website and data privacy)
  • We do not have FCRA certification and therefore do not accept any foreign donations


Note: All donations and transactions are 100% Indian origin and accounted for via transparent, audited financial processes.

TPF Aid operates with an internal Legal Wing that not only protects our organization, but also offers support and justice-based services to marginalized individuals especially under-trial prisoners, debt-trapped families, and financially helpless litigants.

Legal Policies We Abide By

We are compliant with and guided by the following Indian laws, rules, and acts:

  • Companies Act, 2013 (Section 8 compliance)
  • Income Tax Act, 1961 (especially Sections 12A, 80G, 10(23C))
  • CSR Rules, 2021
  • Indian Contract Act, 1872 (for donor agreements)
  • Information Technology Act, 2000 (for digital privacy, data handling, cookies)
  • Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 (for child-related campaigns)
  • Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (for inclusive services)
  • Indian Penal Code, CrPC, BNS & BNSS (for fraud protection, fundraiser misuse, legal action against offenders)
  • Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010 – Not Applicable to TPF; hence, no foreign funds accepted

Every document uploaded, campaign launched, and donor engaged is done after cross-verification and legal vetting.

Our Legal Wing: Defender of NGO

TPF Aid’s internal Legal Wing handles:

  • Drafting of all terms, privacy, and agreements
  • Legal inspection of fundraisers and beneficiary eligibility
  • Action against fraudulent claims or impersonation
  • Arbitration in volunteer disputes or platform misuse
  • Representing the Foundation in any external legal matter
  • Issuing notices to those who breach terms or misuse aid
  • Collaborating with state and district-level legal aid bodies to support the poor

Zero Tolerance Legal Policies

We maintain strict legal action policies against:

  • Fake or manipulated fundraiser applications
  • Identity theft or misuse of donor details
  • Misuse of Zakat or aid for non-sanctioned purposes
  • Volunteers or users who bring disrepute to the Foundation
  • Anyone found soliciting foreign donations in our name


Offenders may face legal prosecution, public blacklisting, and NGO sector reporting, including to MCA, Income Tax Department, or appropriate courts.

  • TPF Aid is not liable for any third-party websites, misrepresentations, or unsolicited donation solicitations outside our platform.
  • All disputes shall be handled under jurisdiction of Courts of Law of NCT of Delhi as per Indian law.
  • Our decisions regarding platform use, fund disbursement, and volunteer management are final and legally enforceable, as per our Terms & Conditions.
  • The use of our name, logo, or material without permission is strictly prohibited under copyright and misrepresentation laws.
